Our wonderful clients hired Northcape to completely transform this beautiful mountaintop home. The existing layout restricted the huge views so we utilized our 3D modeling software to visualize various concepts, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The existing kitchen was on the lakeside, which limited the views while the dining area was in a dark room surrounded by walls. We swapped the kitchen and dining room to maximize the views and opened this space into the family room. The center of the home had a second floor, which took away from the dramatic views. The entire second floor was removed, allowing for a central gathering space with an impressive gable wall of windows. We added a bathroom in the lower level, and refinished every bedroom throughout, creating additional space for guests to visit. The Primary Suite was completely renovated, and a sanctuary was created for the owners to enjoy a place of their own to unwind after a day on the lake or after a powder day at the mountain.
