Everett graduated with a BS degree in Business Administration from the Whitemore School at the University of New Hampshire in 1971. He completed 2½ years of Civil Engineering and numerous courses in art and architecture at the same time. Before founding Northcape Design in 1987, Everett was a partner in the construction firm of Marro & Pollard, Inc. for 12 years.
Everett is very active in professional associations and continuing education. He has earned a number of certifications including Certified Graduate Remodeler, Certified Green Professional and Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist.
Everett lives with his wife Robin in the village of Sunapee, less than a six-minute walk from the Northcape Office!
Vice President of Operations
Robin graduated “Cum Laude” from the University of New Hampshire in 1976 with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. Putting her degree to great use, she spent many years in managerial positions in both the retail and restaurant worlds.
Robin has been an integral part of Northcape Design from the beginning and is even responsible for naming our company. She is and has been gofer, painter, bookkeeper, gardener and marketing genie.
Robin lives with Everett, of course, along with their cat, Fannie Fern, and their mischievous Airedales, Timberframe and Josephine.
Carol is a 1988 graduate of Katharine Gibbs School in Boston and was awarded an Associates Degree in Business from Granite State College in 2013.
Carol came to work for Northcape in April of 2005. Previously, she worked for several law firms in New Hampshire, as well as a world-wide accounting firm.
Carol is the glue that holds it all together. With a desk right in the middle of everything, she is the administrator extraordinaire!
Carol lives in Sunapee with her 2 girls, Kristy and Laura and their Australian Cattle Dog, Luna.
Jim began working for Northcape Design in 2000. For many years he augmented his career in the ski industry by working for construction and production companies is the greater Lake Sunapee area.
Jim brings a wealth of knowledge to his position as Project Manager.
Plus, as the best skier at Northcape, he’s the one who always organizes our annual company “ski day” at Mt. Sunapee Resort!
Jim, his wife Jennifer, their sons, Zachary and Parker, and their dog Reddy, live in a home they built for themselves in Newbury.
Rick graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a BS in Civil Engineering and from Clarkson College with a BS of Industrial Distribution. He has been a Registered Professional Engineer since 1981.
Rick has been with Northcape Design since 2008, but before that was a Field Engineer and Civil Engineer for the State of New Hampshire, and owned and operated a local construction company. He also worked as a Project Superintendent completing many large commercial projects and homes all over New Hampshire.
Rick and his wife Nancy have two adult children and live in Bradford.
Selections Coordinator & Interior Designer
A graduate of Newbury College and a member of the American Institute of Interior Design, Pat is an award-winning interior designer as well as a talented kitchen and bath designer. She worked at the Expo Design Center in Boston before managing a design center on Cape Cod for a number of years.
Pat and her husband, Chet live out in the country in Newport. Chet enjoys clearing and building hiking trails on their property and Pat loves gardening, raising chickens, cooking and baking.
Professional Building Designer
Sue graduated with a BS from Pennsylvania State University and then received her MA from Boston College. Sue has worked in a wide variety of positions ranging from business implementation manager to senior business analyst, not to mention kitchen design, construction coordinator and building designer for several area design-build firms.
Sue lives in Lebanon, serves on the Lebanon Planning Board and is an avid skier, traveler, mountain biker and has even tried rock climbing!
Handyman & Warranty Manager
Steve started with Northcape Design in 2002. With an educational background in Business Administration, he also owned the construction firm, Mink Hills Construction.
Steve is an invaluable team member, doing a little bit of this and a lot of that for everyone! He is the one who finishes the “punch lists” and fills in when a crew is short. We’d be lost without him!
Steve lives in Sunapee, enjoying many outdoor sports and running several websites in his spare time.
